Just like the human body, when the diesel engine is working normally, if the diesel generator fails, the smoke emitted is also different from usual, and the exhaust gas emitted at ordinary times is almost colorless and transparent. When the work is not normal, the exhaust gas is black, white and blue. Careful analysis of the causes of smoke, timely troubleshooting, not only save fuel, but also reduce wear and consumption, and can maximize work efficiency. Therefore, the physical condition of the diesel engine can be determined by carefully checking the color and concentration geometry of the oil fume!
1. Black smoke is mainly due to poor atomization or unburned diesel injected into the cylinder, which turns into black carbon particles under high temperature and high pressure, which are mixed in the exhaust gas and discharged. The prevention measures are as follows: if the diesel engine is overloaded, the fuel injector should be checked and corrected; if the fuel injector is not working well, the fuel injector should be adjusted until the atomization, range, pressure and injection area meet the standards; if the fuel supply time is too late, The fuel supply advance angle should be adjusted; if the intake and exhaust valve gaps are not correct, the valve gap should be adjusted according to regulations; if the air filter or muffler is blocked, it should be cleared in time.
2. White smoke is mainly due to the low temperature of the diesel engine, the diesel injected into the cylinder cannot be completely burned, and the diesel is discharged with white fog spots or steam along with the exhaust gas. In addition, the fuel injected into the cylinder contains water, which will also make the exhaust white. Prevention and control measures are as follows: If the engine is not warmed up enough and the temperature is too low, water should be heated in the water tank before starting. If necessary, release the oil and add it after heating; if there is water in the fuel tank, check the leakage and plug it. Then, drain the water oil and add the water-free oil; if the injector is not working properly, adjust or replace the injector; if the fuel supply time is too early, adjust the fuel supply advance angle.
3. Blue smoke is mainly caused by a large amount of oil entering the combustion chamber and burning. The prevention and control methods are as follows: If the oil in the oil pan is too much and exceeds the specified height, causing the oil to enter the combustion chamber, check the oil dipstick and release the excess oil; if the piston ring opening is in a straight line or the piston ring elasticity is insufficient, the piston ring Flip and excessive wear or breakage cause the oil to run up, the ring should be opened incorrectly, the piston ring should be installed correctly or the unqualified piston ring should be replaced; if the piston and the sleeve cylinder are severely worn, the piston and cylinder should be replaced; if the valve stem and valve guide are worn, causing oil to leak into the cylinder, the wear rod should be replaced; if the oil level of the air filter is too high, causing the oil to be sucked into the combustion chamber with the air, it should be Pour off the excess oil).
If the flue gas from the unit is transparent in five colors, it means that the unit is running in good condition, the oil is fully burned and the rotating speed is normal, then it must be running at a slower load.
