With the Shanghai Aircraft Design and Research Institute as the core, the relevant experts of the United Nations domestic and foreign design, test, manufacturing, flight test and other research and development units have formed a large diesel engine joint engineering team, and formulated a large diesel engine joint engineering team work plan.
Jin Zhuanglong said that in cooperation with the demonstration of large-scale diesel engine projects, it has increased international cooperation and exchanges, and actively contacted international suppliers. The chief designer and deputy chief designer of large diesel engines were appointed, and 20 experts including Zhang Yanzhong, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, were appointed to form a large diesel engine expert advisory group.
At the same time, the new regional aircraft project undertaken by COMAC with complete intellectual property rights has also made significant progress. Since its establishment, COMAC has actively promoted the marketing, customer communication and airworthiness certification of ARJ21 new regional aircraft.
At present, the ARJ21 new regional aircraft has completed the final assembly task, entered the flight test station, comprehensively carried out the system ground comprehensive test, the whole aircraft structure ground test and the verification flight, and will realize the first flight in the near future.
